Cibola Book Club

Cibola Book Club meets every Friday at lunch in Mrs. Wallace's room, P48A.

The objectives of Cibola Book Club shall be:

  1. To promote literacy.
  2. To provide an environment where people can read as a group and have a stimulating conversation.
  3. To expand reading genres.
  4. To have fun.
  5. To meet literate people.

Letter Requirements

  1. Membership in the Cibola Book Club shall be open to students of Cibola High School who maintain a 2.0 GPA.
  2. Students in this organization shall gain membership in this club by attending 50% of the meetings and being involved in Cibola Book Club activities and fundraisers.
  3. The activities include reading 75% of all of the books chosen by the club, community service, fundraising, and paying the dues.

Honor Cord Requirement

  • Senior students who have been  active participants this year
  • Must have Cumulative 3.5 for 4 years (GPA’s will be verified)
  • Must have participated in your organization for 2 years and/or
  • Must have competed in State Competition for this organization and have been a member in good standing for at least one year.
