Driving and Parking on Campus Lots

Parking passes costs (Non-refundable):

  • $35 Senior Lot
  • $35 Junior (West) Lot

Students must Apply for a Parking Permit. Please use your student Google Account when submitting the form. All parking passes must be paid for online via School Pay:

The replacement cost for lost or stolen tags will be the same price as the corresponding lot price.

  • The vehicle will be towed at the owner’s expense
  • Parking in incorrect lot:
    • Warning-sticker on car
    • Lunch detention sticker on the car
    • ISS 1 day-sticker on car
    • Loss of parking privileges-sticker on car
    • The vehicle will be towed at the owner’s expense
  • Towing information with All Pro Towing. The cost will be $150-$200.00 per tow at the owner’s expense.

Policies For Use of CHS Parking Lots

  • All vehicles parked on the school grounds must be registered with the school (no exceptions) and the Cibola High School (CHS) parking tag must be placed on the rear-view mirror of the vehicle.
  • Everyone must provide a valid drivers' license, current proof of insurance and state vehicle registration in order to register vehicles. Once vehicles have been registered, the parking tag may be used in any vehicle that is registered to the purchaser.
  • APS and Cibola High School are not responsible for loss or damage to any vehicles or any of its contents.

Senior Lot is located on Cibola Loop and Ellison (big lot on the corner) West Lot aka “Junior Lot” (all underclassmen) is located on West Cibola Loop and Ellison

  1. Parking is strictly limited to designated student parking areas (based on permit eligible for and purchased).
  2. No student parking is allowed in faculty or visitor lots.
  3. Violators will be tagged. Citations and disciplinary actions will be assigned.
  4. Enter and exit through designated areas only.
  5. Only authorized senior lot students may drive their vehicles off campus during lunch (with valid CHS ID card).
  6. Do not access your vehicle during passing periods or school hours.
  7. Do not park in marked handicap areas.
  8. Do not park in front of “No Parking” and “Bus Loading” signs or gates.
  9. Do not double or triple park or ”box in” a vehicle.
  10. Do not park diagonally and take up two spots
  11. Do not drive recklessly, spin tires, or speed.
  12. Speed limit is 5 mph everywhere on CHS campus. No horseplay in parking lots.
  13. Students may not ride in the back of pickup trucks, on the hood/trunk of vehicles, or any other way, which is deemed unsafe.
  14. No loitering in parking lots before, during or after school, including passing periods, and lunch (no exceptions).
  15. Follow ALL Security Instructions.
  • Parking regulations will be strictly enforced.
  • It is a privilege, not a right, to drive and park on school grounds.
  • Students in violation of driving and parking regulations listed above risk suspension, revoked driving privileges and/or vehicle being cited and possibly towed at owner’s expense.
  • Anyone applying for and receiving parking permits fully understands their responsibility in following these rules and regulations. Consequences may include but are not limited to suspension of driving privileges, suspension from school, arrest, and/or criminal prosecution.
  • Anyone who hits/damages another vehicle and fails to report it immediately will lose his/her driving privileges.
  • Anyone who misuses a CHS parking tag will lose his/her driving privileges
    • Example: Using a lost/stolen tag, using a friend’s tag, using a fake/altered tag, taking underclassmen off campus in a vehicle.
