Tara Garcia - 10th Grade Counselor

CNM registration for Summer 2017 for new and returning students began February 20, 2017, including for dual-credit courses.

If you are a sophomore, junior, or senior interested in taking a high school dual-credit class at CNM, it is recommended that you look at their course options, prepare, then register as soon as possible.

Students must complete the online application process and take the Accuplacer exam at any CNM campus *prior* to registering for classes.

Class sizes/ locations are limited & fill quickly. Dual-credit courses offer free tuition and free textbook use.

To view CNM's Schedule of Classes for Summer 2017 click this link: .

Do you need help with the steps involved in registering for a CNM dual-credit course? Click on this link: .

You can call or visit any CNM campus to talk with a CNM Advisor for assistance. Our CHS College/Career Counselor, Mr. Sena, and I are also happy to assist you with questions.

If you register for a dual-credit course, please be sure to print a copy of your CNM schedule and give it to your CHS school counselor.

All sophomores will take the PSAT (Preliminary SAT) on Wed., Oct. 19.  APS requires and funds the PSAT for all 10th graders. This pre-college entrance exam is great test preparation and practice, but it's important to remember that the PSAT is designed for juniors, so sophomores who take it are just getting early practice with this important exam.  Students should receive their results and feedback just before Winter Break.  For more information about the exam, see this link:  PSAT Info for Sophomores
