Antigone Comparison/Contrast Essay

Prompt:  Choose two different characters to compare and contrast. Then explain how each character’s personality traits contributed to the outcome of the work. Remember that you are to focus on the same types of inner traits illustrated in your mind map. Do not summarize the story.

 

Character List:  Antigone, Creon, Eurydice, Haemon, Ismene, & Tiresias

 

Essay Guidelines:

  • Final draft in pen; revision must be typed
  • Formal voice; no “I” or “This essay will…”
  • TAG:  Title, Author, & Genre in the introduction
