Book Talk

Students will read, prepare, and present 1 - 2 Book Talks during each semester. Get to know your books really well, because you’re going to “pitch” them to us during the semester to try to convince us to rush out and get a copy of the book. PLEASE NOTE: Prepare for the book talk in advance -- don't make it up as you go along.

A Few Tips

  • It can be fiction or non-fiction
  • It must be age/grade level appropriate
  • It cannot be a book you are reading for another class or have already read
